Eating and Work-outs from Last Monday March 22nd to Yesterday (Monday March 29th)

I started out last week pretty healthily but floundered towards the end of the week with the culmination of a perfect storm. The perfect storm was having home cooked meals because of my parents being in town and eating out more due to my girlfriend arriving home from Rome for ten days. It has been great to have her here but I need to learn to control my celebratory eating. It's like they say, old habits die hard. I've come to find out that this extremely true and if I'm going to overcome the temptation of celebratory eating in the future I need to be more vigilant with myself.  Days I did work out are in green and days I didn't workout are in red.


1) Monday March 22nd


Eating
  • Breakfast- bowl of Special K 
  • Lunch- turkey, lettuce and tomato sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with very light mayo and salt and pepper
  • Dinner- greek salad
Work-out
  • Rowing Machine:
    • Meters Rowed- 5,000 
    • Calories burned- 270
    • Minutes- 30:00
2) Tuesday March 23rd


Eating
  • Breakfast- egg-whites and cheese on an english muffin
  • Lunch-turkey, lettuce and tomato sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with very light mayo and salt and pepper
  • Dinner - greek salad
Work-out
  • Rowing Machine:
    • Meters Rowed- 5,000
    • Calories burned- 250
    • Minutes- 35:00
3) Wednesday March 24th


Eating
  • Breakfast- egg-whites and cheese on an english muffin
  • Lunch- turkey, lettuce and tomato sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with very light mayo and salt and pepper
  • Dinner: 4 Course pre fixed Menu
    • Appetizer- pate with mustard and red onions on bread 
    • 2nd Appetizer- finely diced casserole with carrots sausage potatoes and other comforting ingredients with sprinkled Gruyere  cheese and a brown reduction sauce 
    • Maine Course- braised veal with roasted beats
    • Dessert- a strong cheese which I took one small bit of and disliked alot
4) Thursday March 25th


Eating
  • Breakfast- egg-white and cheese on an english muffin
  • Lunch- turkey, lettuce and tomato sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with very light mayo and salt and pepper
  • Dinner- veal parmesan 
5) Friday March 26th

Eating
  • Breakfast- three egg-white cheese omelet 
  • Lunch- cuban sandwhich with onion blossom rings 
  • Dinner- steak, garlic mashed potatoes and a salad
6) Saturday March 27th


Eating
  • Breakfast- omelet with cheese, bell peppers, tomatoes, ham and red onions with home fires and whole wheat toast
  • Lunch- turkey sandwich on multigrain bread with red peppers and a Dijon spread
  • Dinner- steamed pork dumplings and pork lo-main 
Work-out
  • Rowing Machine:
    • Meters Rowed- 5,000
    • Calories burned- 251
    • Minutes- 35:11
7) Sunday March 28th 


Eating
  • Breakfast- nothing
  • Lunch- chicken parmesan sub and a bunch of hint of lime tortilla chips and salsa
  • Dinner:
    •  appetizer- cabbage stuff with rabbit and a 
    • main course- steak with horseradish sauce and spinach and potato puree
    • Dessert- a lemon tart (did not finish)
8) Yesterday (Monday March 29th)


Eating
  • Breakfast- egg-whites and cheese on an english muffin
  • Lunch- turkey, lettuce and tomato sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with very light mayo and salt and pepper
  • Dinner- filet mignon and shrimp hibachi with fried rice
